ABOUT ME

“My photography background stems from my years of experience in filmmaking. I am a natural-born storyteller and I am magnetised to the craft of image-making.”

I might get a bit deep and philosophical here (thanks to Bon Iver playing in the background), but after 20 years of documenting weddings, I’ve come to realise that, just like life, weddings are about the moments in between. We age, we lose loved ones, we create memories—what stands out most aren’t the staged or “perfect” moments, but the real, honest ones that happen naturally. It’s the same with weddings.

For me, marriage is about two families coming together, starting a new chapter. It’s not about posing for the camera or trying to create a Vogue cover moment; it’s about living in the day, surrounded by those who mean the most to you. And that’s where the magic lies—in the spontaneous laughter, the quiet tears, the glances that go unnoticed. These are the moments that make a wedding day truly unforgettable.

That’s why I embrace a documentary-style approach. It’s imperfectly perfect, just like life. Capturing the real, raw moments gives a nostalgic feel that’s more meaningful than anything posed. These fleeting, in-between moments are what matter most, and I absolutely love documenting them.
